About Adam

I was born in upstate New York and have been writing stories ever since I asked my parents to transcribe a story that began “Once there was kitties.” After learning about subject-verb agreement, I went on to study at Gettysburg College and Purchase College, where I obtained a B.A. in Literature, summa cum laude, in 2005. I then went on to earn an M.A. from Binghamton University in 2007 in English. Since then, I have taught middle school English in northern New Jersey where I currently live, along with my wife, son, a neurotic dog and two cats.

My writing interests include literary fiction, history, fantasy and science fiction. I have been published in several anthologies and placed in several contests. My interests also include running, baseball (real and fantasy), and making improvements on my creaky old house.

  1. Congrats, Mr. Knight! Now that I’m a fully-fledged, SCI-FI convert, I await with relish my reading of ‘At the Trough’!

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it. I’d love to hear your thoughts when you’re done. As a fellow Language Arts teacher, I think you will relate to a lot of what occurs in the novel…

It is Good to see your still writing, I can’t wait to see what other Stories you can come up with. I don’t know if you still remember this name but if you do, You taught me a lot of what I know now, because of you my writing and vocabulary skills have improved tremendously and inspired me to become a teacher, even with currently reading At The Through, Keep writing books because I want to read more of them.

      Hi Daniel,

It’s great to hear from you! I’m glad you are enjoying my book. I poured a lot of my fear and frustration about the future of education into it, and unfortunately some aspects of the novel are already coming true. I hope you are doing well, and if you enjoy the book when you’re done with it, please help me out and leave a positive review wherever you purchased the book. (Good reviews are crucial for new authors.)

And yes, I’m still writing every day. I just finished the rough draft of my next novel. It’s a weird one…
